I wrote a few words last week, but they’ve been in my notebooks. For some reason writing on my laptop feels difficult. This wouldn’t be a problem except for my terrible handwriting.
It’s not merely transferring it at some point to a laptop or screen, it’s deciphering hieroglyphs.
I have everything in my head for these stories in the collection. The problematic part is getting them written. I’m being distracted by whatever goes on. The news is horrible, stories are out on submission, and I have things I can edit.
Hello, I’m Brian, and my head is swirling with a swirly, whirly twist of twigs, sticks, and brain matter. Come inside to the chaos.
I think editing will be where I go. I know I have stories I can put together to make a collection with a theme. I have hundreds of those. That’s what I’ll do.
I play World of Warcraft on Zul’jin with my wife, read Chaos Agent by Mark Greaney, In The Miso Soup, and watch Reacher and Dexter: New Blood. New Blood is one we’ve meant to get to. We loved the first three seasons of the original Dexter.
Reacher is a favorite of mine. The Lee Child books are a lot of fun. Mark Greaney is one of the best writers in the political/military thriller genre and like Tom Clancy, someone I admire in that genre for their writing.
The new patch for WoW(World of Warcraft) came out, and while I’m not crazy about the car we have to use, some of the other features are good if I could only decide who to play with.
With the help of my medical card, I’m having less foot pain. It’s helping a lot with my foot, especially my migraines. It’s always helped with my migraines.
I have to get back to doing something. I’ll talk next week.
Life is full of challenges but as writers, it's just more fuel for our stories.
