What’s the story?

My name is Brian. I write horror and thrillers under Brian B. Baker. I have novel about a stolen military drone that came out in November and a collection of horror stories. The latter can be purchased on Amazon. The former can be purchased anywhere digitally, and a physical copy can be ordered at any bookstore.

Let’s get into it.

I’ve been writing for most of my life. I’ve devoted the last seven years to working hard on it. I’ll be 47 in a couple of days and this is as good of place as any to talk about what I’m doing.

I’m currently editing a collection of travel themed short stories. I’m writing another collection and will be submitting a novella for consideration to an open call I recently saw.

It’s been cold where I live in Utah and our furnace went out on Wednesday. It won’t be replaced until Tuesday. My wife, kids and myself are managing but it’s terribly cold. The new furnace will cost $4,000, so any books you purchase will go towards that.

I bartend to help pay the bills and I’m working an event tonight at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the home of the Utah Utes.
