Changes

Life gets in the way of things. The last few weeks kept me away from writing on here.

Let’s see: changing jobs, sketching a story idea but reading middle grade books to prepare for it. Blown away by all of these, but especially the Dark is Rising Sequence by Susan Cooper.

I have other books to read before I get real words on this project but I will return to those books to finish them.

It’s been a while since I read MG books. I forgot how much fun they are.

I borrowed my son’s copy of The Lighting Thief to start this. I understand my son more by having read it.

Tonight will hopefully be my last bartending shift after 26 years.

I’m doing something else.
